Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser. This website leaves one only after you send the form, and one more only if you change the currency of the prices.

On this website

Reading the home page and these policy pages sets no cookies. There is no tracking, no advertising and no analytics here. To show prices in your own currency, the page asks this website which country you are in, from your connection; it is not kept.

When you send the “Sign up” form, the site sets one cookie:

  • sent-request: a code for the request you have just sent, kept for 1 hour. If you press “Wrong address? Change it” and send again, it lets us put the earlier request away, but only if that one is still waiting, not yet confirmed, for the same business and has a different email. It is not readable by scripts on the page, is sent only to this website, and is not used for tracking or advertising. It is strictly necessary for that one feature, so there is nothing to accept.

When you change the currency beside the prices, the site sets one cookie:

  • currency: the currency you chose, such as USD, kept for 1 year so the prices stay in it when you come back. It holds nothing else, is sent only to this website, and is not used for tracking or advertising.

When you sign in

The Symphony Office sign-in page is separate from this website. When you sign in they set the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your choice of light or dark appearance. These are strictly necessary for the sign-in to work, and they are removed when you sign out or when they expire.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or anything else that uses cookies, we will say so here first and ask you before it is switched on.
